Introduction

Our names are Natricia and Ashley Hill. I am currently 47 years old. My partner is currently 49 years old. We do not yet have any children

I am a stay-at-home parent and have a flexible work schedule. My partner works full-time for Intel as a Technician .

Home and Community

We live in the State of Oregon. Our home is a 3 bedroom single family home with a comfortable backyard. We live in a Suburban neighborhood that is filled with children of all ages and cultures. We have one 13 year old dog and her name is "Kaisas" she is a dachshund and poodle mix.

Parenting Experience

Growing up for me, was quite different then it was today. We played football in the park and also had recreation on Saturday morning playing basketball. Kids today don't hardly play outside like we did they have computerized games.

Playing with children in the neighborhood, helped us meet and make friends, while learning who our neighbors were. My wife and I have a gift with working with children of different ages. She has taught young children and the church. I started a group called Godly Young Men for the church and mentored our teens and young boys.

Support

My biological sister was given up for adoption in Indiana, when I was young which I didn't know after our mom passed she found me. We have been getting to know one another and she has become a great sources.

My sister in law Deborah was a foster parent. Two of my aunts (Mary & Towanda) and my sister in law Dionne are health care professionals. My church family is also available for spiritual guidance. They live in places such as Oregon, Indiana, California, Colorado and Georgia. So we have plenty of places to reach out for help and go for visits.

Motivation to Adopt

Despite the obstacle classes and unforeseen challenges we have stay the course for multiple reasons. The number one though is we believe we can help a child and that we would make awesome parents. We have assisted teaching other children. We also have kept some of our young relatives numerous times. So its time for us to take the next step.
