"We are active kids and would like to be with a family that is active as well. We want to be part of a loving and dedicated family so we can grow up together."
Jordan, Valentino, Niko, and Solara are an especially close sibling group! They play well with one another and relish the time they get to spend together. They are all active and energetic. This group enjoys participating in various types of activities such as watching movies, playing outside, and going on recreational outings. Jordan, Valentino, Niko and Solara like to play together and interact with one another. In addition, they also like having time to play separately as they are all individual children with distinct personalities. As with any sibling group, they engage in typical sibling behavior with one another. They are a close knit and bonded group.
"I am happy, helpful and I want to grow up with my siblings."
Jordan is an active youth who enjoys outdoor activities such as playing sports, running, fishing, bike riding, going on walks, and hikes. He also enjoys being indoors watching TV, playing video games and board games, building things with Legos, and completing arts & crafts. In school, Jordan receives assistance with addressing his behavior and requires extra support academically. The past has shown that with improved behavior at school his academics also improve. He is working on developing the skills he needs to be successful with his behavior and how to handle situations that are difficult for him. He is a caring child and a protective brother to his siblings.
Jordan will benefit from a family who can give him individual attention. He needs positive role models to help him build his self-esteem and a family to help him work through the loss he has experienced. He will also benefit from having a family who is consistent with discipline, but who will also point out his positive qualities.
"My name is Valentino and I like to play outside and I want to grow up with my siblings."
Valentino, who prefers to be called Tino, is an energetic child who loves to be outside! Some of his favorite outdoor activities include, playing soccer and basketball, riding his bike, and fishing. He also enjoys indoor activities such as playing with race cars, playing video games, listening to music, and baking. At school, Tino receives extra assistance and support with a few subjects. He often needs reminders in school to stay focused, remain on task, and to finish his work. To assist in addressing these behaviors, Tino benefits from receiving one on one attention. He is also learning ways to develop skills on his own for when he will not have individual attention. Tino has a lot of potential and is capable of doing well with structure and clear expectations.
Valentino will do best in a family who can give him one on one attention. He is part of a sibling group who is part of this adoption so the family needs to be able to manage dividing attention between the children. His ideal family will provide him with structure and patience.
"I am smart, kind, and want to group up with my siblings."
Niko is a sweet child who enjoys many physical activities such as playing sports, taking walks and hikes, running, and bike riding. He also enjoys listening to music, playing with Legos, coloring, and watching movies. He plays well in group settings but also can play alone and entertain himself. In school, Niko does well behaviorally and has only needed correction in this area in a few instances. He occasionally requires encouragement to stay on task and not rush through his assignments. His teachers describe him as a good student. At home, he is described as self-sufficient and can complete chores. He also enjoys helping others.
Niko needs a family who will give him individual attention and praise him for a job well done. Since he is part of a sibling group, a two-parent home is preferred. Niko will do great in a home that is active and structured.
"I am friendly and want to group up with my siblings."
Solara is a sweet, little girl who is energetic and outgoing. She likes to play with dolls, dance, color, and read. She also enjoys playing tag, hide and seek, and soccer. She enjoys being the center of attention and is not shy. She is described as funny and articulate by her caregivers. On occasion, Solara can require redirection for being bossy with peers. She is capable of doing well academically, however, at times her behavior can hinder her being successful in this area. She requires specific attention in the school setting to ensure she remains on task and is following the rules. Solara will benefit from having a positive role model who can encourage improved behavior.
Solara will benefit from a two-parent home. She has siblings who are part of this adoption, therefore, having a two-parent home will offer more opportunity for individual and group attention. Solara's adoptive parents need to be firm and consistent when addressing behaviors.
Jordan, Valentino, Niko and Solara will do best in a two parent home, preferably, with a mom and dad. A family with a flexible work schedule would be beneficial. The preference would be that this sibling group be the only children in the home, however, this can be discussed depending on the age of the other children in the home. The children will do best with a family who is active, structured, and able to give the children group and individual attention.
