Texas Children

Siblings are special, and these two are no exception! These kiddos would love to be adopted by the same family.

Allison and Nathan are bonded as siblings and have always been together. They are currently placed together in the same foster home. They are doing well but have their moments of sibling rivalry. They enjoy playing together or separately. Allison is a very outgoing child who enjoy doing cheers and dancing. Nathan is more into playing with his toys especially his Spider-Man figurine. They play really well together when they want to. Nathan love anything with super-heroes. They also enjoy playing games on their personal tablet. Allison can be very protective of her younger brother. However, there are occasions in which she may agitate and pick on him. When there are sibling disputes, Nathan will tell his foster parents while Allison tends to be more independent.

"I want to be adopted with my younger brother."

Allison is the oldest of this sibling group of two. She is a cute and sassy girl. She desires to be a cheerleader when she grows up. Allison is a very loving, spirited, and an independent girl. She enjoys coloring, dancing, playing pretend, playing on the tablet, and listening to music. She is very social and will talk to anyone. Allison likes to receive a lot of praise and attention. Although, socially, Allison does exceedingly well, in and outside of school, she does enjoy time by herself, especially if it means one-on-one time with their caregiver. Allison does need prompting to do bedtime tasks. Allison enjoys attending school and does well academically.

Allison will thrive best in a two parent home. She would like to be in a home that shares her race/ethnicity. Allison enjoys small town living. The family must be committed to adopting both Allison and Nathan. It will be best if they are the only children in the home. The children will do well with a family who is consistent and structured, has behavior management experience or training, and who is able to display love and affection.

"I love playing with Spider-Man toys."

Nathan is a few years younger than his sister. He aspires to be a firefighter when he grows up. His favorite color is red and LOVES anything Spiderman. Nathan enjoys having other children around to play with, but also likes to receive individual attention from his caregivers. At times, Nathan prefers to play on his own and will keep himself entertained for hours. Nathan is thriving in his current home environment, which is structured as well as nurturing. He responds positively to prompting, redirection, and verbal praise. Nathan has challenging behaviors in school and struggles with focusing on his school work. He has made significant improvements at home.

Nathan will thrive best in a two parent home. He would like to be in a home that shares her race/ethnicity. Nathan is in need of a family who will provide him with a lot of patience as he learns to accept clear and consistent boundaries. Nathan, like his sister, enjoys small town living. The family must be committed to adopting both Allison and Nathan. It will be best if they are the only children in the home. The children will do well with a family who is consistent and structured, has behavior management experience or training, and who is able to display love and affection.

Allison and Nathan need a family that can provide them with the love and nurturance they need in their young lives. The family need to provide these children with structure and support while advocating for their needs in the classroom setting. The children need to be able to engage in extracurricular activities which can further enhance their overall growth and development. It would be best that Allison and her brother are the only children in the home.
